  • Laurie does not accept insurance but does provide superbills for clients. Individual Counseling rates per hour are $175.

  • Counseling intensives can be extremely powerful however, intensives should not replace ongoing counseling. The shorter and more intense the length of treatment, the more it should be regarded as consultation/counseling and not therapy. Having said that, Laurie will see couples for a counseling intensive over 2 consecutive days in her office for roughly 3-4 hours per day. Laurie prefers that couples have a couple therapist available in their hometown for continued support and consultation.
Customized 8 or 10 hours over 2 to 3 days. The typical schedule is to meet day one for four hours including dinner out with Laurie. Day two would be 4 more hours, with an optional two-hour session for Laurie to help customize the recap and plan for going home. Laurie will customize what you need the most, but usually will do thorough attachment profiles and allow time for rest, play, and exploring the Washington area. When available, can book bnb within a few blocks of her office. All-inclusive intensive rates usually run anywhere from $2500- $3500, depending on length of stay.

  • If you need to miss a scheduled appointment, you must cancel 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. You will be unable to cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled session. This means you will be charged for the appointment. Phone calls, emails, or text messages to Laurie or anyone else will not count as cancellation of your appointment.

  • Laurie is available for consultations with clinicians. Submit a contact form or email laurie@brysoncounseling.com for more information.

  • In preparation for an online session, please make certain of the following:

You are both in front of the camera (and in one location).

    Your internet connection is good.

    Your faces are well-lit.

    You are audible.

Scheduling Appointments

After the initial intake appointment, clients will be granted an option to self-schedule online on Therapy Appointment. Most appointments are offered by the hour. However, couples may request 90-minute or 2-hour appointments. Personal Intensives are available upon request for both couples and individuals.

Laurie’s online scheduler through Therapy Appointment is self-serve. This means that clients schedule, cancel, and reschedule appointments themselves online. You will be asked to create a username and password when you get to the online scheduler. This is for your privacy.
