As the field of therapy and my career has evolved, my speciality is adult individual and couples therapy. I am in the training certification for PACT, which stands for Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy. I personally believe in this highly practical approach within my own relationships and coming from an agricultural background.
The first decade of my career was spent working intensively with food addictions, eating and anxiety disorders. I am a Level 3 certified ETT therapist, (Emotional Transformative Therapy), which is an approach similar to EMDR to help individuals process traumatic events and memories.
I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Economics from Oklahoma State University in 1998. I completed a Masters of Counseling Degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in St Louis, Missouri in 2004.
My therapeutic style is one of ease and highly relational. I am committed to creating a space where you feel valued without judgement. The time and length spent in counseling will largely depend on you the client and we will collaborate on a treatment plan that works best for you.
