I grew up in rural Texas and started my career with a degree in Economics from Oklahoma State University. After working in the corporate world for half of a decade, I went back to school and obtained my master’s degree in counseling from Covenant Seminary in Saint Louis, Missouri.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri, I have been working in private practice since 2004. I am a member of the Missouri Association of Mental Health Counselors, I am an HIPAA-compliant certified supervisor in the state of Missouri, and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. My areas of interest and specialties include working with individuals, couples and families with unhealthy boundaries, sexual abuse and dysfunction, grief and trauma, eating disorders and disordered eating, anxiety and depression issues, as well as marital crisis including infidelity. I am a certified Level 3 ETT (Emotional Transformation Therapy) therapist.
I utilize my life experience, non-judgmental and easy-going nature, and gift of humility to meet people where they are. I come from a faith background and that is important to me. However, I am most passionate about helping folks realize they aren’t alone in their struggles and there is often hope where there seems to be none.
